PTV Sports

PTV Sports is a 24-hour Pakistani sports channel; owned by Pakistan Television Corporation. Watch PTV Sports Live. PTV Sports was launched on 17 December 2011. Its test transmission began emanating from AsiaSat 3S at an orbit of 105.5ºE on 30 December 2011. According to Firdous Ashiq Awan, Pakistan’s minister of information and broadcasting, the process of digitisation should be complete by December 2012. An agreement worth USD 45 million signed between PTV and Zee TV was aimed at only promoting and broadcasting sports events on the state-run channel.
